So, this is hilarious, the political and social justice nutjobs are now complaining that there isn’t enough ‘diversity’ in the firefighting workforce, you know, because the requirement of physical strength excludes women and minorities and you should really focus on compassion instead. What the hell are these people taking that makes them so moronic? Here, check out this video with a wonderful breakdown of the article. It’s worth the eight minutes of your time!
So, what are we going to talk about today? Well, I thought about it and decided that I ought to mention something that I bet few people know about, but that will effect more people that expected. I’m talking about the FCC deciding that they should sell off a portion of the wireless mic spectrum to make space for wireless broadband and cell phone uses. What makes them think that they own and can sell something that isn’t tangible and isn’t theirs or even own-able in the first place? And what about people that already own equipment that operates in the affected spectrum? Are they just out of luck? Now they have to buy new equipment until the FCC decides to screw them over again? What gives the Government that kind of power? The kind of power to arbitrarily do something like this? I’ll tell you want! The sheeple. That’s right, we the sheeple of the United Herd of America. No one will stand up to or complain about things that makes sense. Oh yeah, half the country goes batshit crazy because of something Trump did years ago, but when our rights and freedoms get taken away all we get are tumbleweeds. Wake up America.

So, Don Lemon, a CNN TV show host says this: “We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”
As a white male, I take Lemon’s statement personally. In one sentence, he says we “have to stop demonizing people” and then goes on to spew the most ignorant, racist demonization of a class of people. And what, perchance, is he thinking when he ominously states that “we have to start doing something about them?” Re-education concentration camps? Frontal lobotomies? Social isolation – the latter of which Lemon may recall as segregation. His condemnatory racist language does not only make Lemon hateful, it makes him downright dishonest. Is his mind so addled with racial venom that he is intellectually incapable of comprehending the illogical juxtaposition of his own statement?
Now, Don Lemon happens to be black, and this brings up another point. If I, as a white man, said this about black people, I would be villified and probably murdered, especially in the press … not given my own TV show. How is it that no one sees this double standard?
Don’t believe me? Check out The Washington Post where he stands by this egregious claim!
Is this what the world is coming to these days? I mean, this seems so ridiculous to me, it’s worse than a car lease! You pay anywhere from $600 to $3,000 or more per month for a car and after your 24 month contract is up, you don’t own anything! Plus, unlike a car lease, there will be no option to buy the car when the contract ends, even if you wanted to! This new scam … I mean, scheme is called a car “subscription plan” modeled after the way cell phone companies handle their cell phone plans and customers (Yep, you read that right). It appears that Volvo, Porsche, Cadillac, Audi, Ford and more companies are trying to get in on the act. One big difference that I should note here is that, unlike a lease, this new “subscription” plan covers your insurance and maintenance as well. This seems like you have no control over just about anything, and heaven forbid if you scratch it or go over your miles per month limit! It all sounds good, but really, isn’t this kind of like throwing your money away when you can buy a car or truck and actually own the damn thing when you are done?? Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know.
